Request data exports, corrections, or deletion.
Trip visibility (private, unlisted, public) controls who can view your content. Public or unlisted trips can be seen by anyone with access to the link. Collaborators you invite may view and add content based on your sharing choices.
We rely on third parties to power certain features (e.g., map tiles, geocoding, Google Photos). Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use those features; they may receive data necessary to provide the service.
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and support analytics and security. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work without them.
We retain account and trip data while you use OurTrips. When you delete content or your account, we remove or anonymize associated personal data unless retention is required by law or legitimate business needs (e.g., security logs).
We apply industry-standard security practices and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; notify us immediately at privacy@ourtrips.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
OurTrips is not directed to children under 13. If we learn we collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete it.
We will update this page with a new effective date when the policy changes. Material updates will be announced through the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
